5 Tips for Making Life Easier with Baby

Deliveries & Subscriptions

They will save you time, mental energy and money!

  • Game changer: get your groceries delivered, including nappies and baby essentials. We love Tesco’s Fred & Flo nappies which are Pampers quality at Aldi pricing!

  • Kit & Kin are also wonderful for a nappy and baby care subscription, here is a referral code: REF10WGN4TZ66

  • Subscribe & Save on Amazon - great for formula, WaterWipes, and any other products you’ll be needing on a regular basis

  • HelloFresh, MindfulChef, Gousto, etc. You get the idea. Stop worrying about what you’re having for dinner and get some nutrition in your system!

Second-hand it

Little kiddos grow out of everything so quickly, you’ll be spending money on something new practically every other day! Vinted, The Octopus Club, Facebook Marketplace, and eBay are platforms to scout for anything you might need. Clothes, carriers, car seats, prams etc. you name it, you can find it!

( P.S. You definitely don’t want to spend big bucks on clothes when they’re in nursery - they’ll be destroyed in no time.)

Rent it

Some things you might only need for a few months (or weeks if you’re going on a holiday). Baboodle is a new rental site for things like prams, co-sleepers or the fancy Snoo. Little Loop and Bundlee are clothing rentals highly rated by fellow parents.

Meet more Mamas!

No, seriously. Talking to other women who are in a similar situation (aka have a baby) will make a huge difference. Find your local mom group or download the Peanut app to connect with others as it will kick that feeling of isolation to the curb. Exchange thoughts, feelings, experiences, and tips…Heck, you might even make some new friends! It will be the thing you didn’t know you needed.

Get an extra pair of hands to help - if you can

If you don’t have family or friends nearby for support, Bubble might be an app you want to explore! You can find a sitter or someone to help with pick up, bath time, dinner time, etc. You can look for a one-off solution or something more regular! Koru Kids is also a highly-rated platform if you’re looking for help with childcare. Create the village they’re always talking about!
