6-12 Month Baby Products we Recommend
They grow so fast! Just when you think you’ve got a handle on things, they’re more capable, more mobile…and need new things! These are our favourites for this phase:
How to Wean Your Baby by Charlotte Stirling-Reed - The ultimate guide to starting solids (such an exciting but nerve-wracking time)! Use this in combination with the Solid Starts app and you’re good to go!
If you don’t have it already, the Stokke Tripp Trapp is a great investment. Yes, it’s not cheap, but it’s a chair for life! Once your baby can sit independently, you can add the baby set (and we highly recommend harness, too!) 😅
A Baby-Cook - A 4-in-1 machine to prep baby’s food hands-free. You can cook, steam, blend, defrost or reheat with this thing! Game changer.
Their first cup - Boosting their independence, one sip at a time. They are free-flowing—which is great for them (but a little messier for us).
Silicone Bibs w/ Pockets - Waterproof, easy to clean and catches food!
Long-sleeved Bibs - When you’re tired of doing a million loads of laundry…did we mention they’re waterproof?!
Refillable Pouches - Make your own food pouches! Add your homemade puree or smoothie to these pouches and use them repeatedly. Your bank account (and the environment) will thank you.
Pouch-Spoon Tips - These detachable spoon tips can be used directly on Ella’s Kitchen pouches.
Mini Popsicles - Even mini popsicles are cute. Great for making a refreshing treat!
Frida Baby Toothbrush - The Grow-With-Me set includes 2 toothbrushes
Portable Playpen - To keep them safe once they are mobile — and give you a chance to do something with two hands! This one comes with a travel case.
MAM Glow in the Dark Dummies size 6m+ - You’ll be able to ‘see’ where your baby is at night and find their dummy faster, too!
Baby-Proof Safety Magnets - Keep those little hands out of kitchen cabinets or office supplies. These magnets leave no sticky stuff or damage to the surface, definitely recommended if you’re renting.
Baby Signing Book - Signing can be a way for baby to communicate their needs before they can speak. Simple signs like ‘milk’, ‘bottle’, and ‘water’ can make life easier for both baby and parents!
Soft Strap Covers - These can protect your baby’s skin from getting irritated by straps (car seat or stroller, etc.)
